Peach

The peach or peach (Prunus persica) is the name of the tree and the fruit it produces, which contains a single large seed encased in a hard shell. This fruit, velvety skin, has a yellow flesh or whitish, sweet taste gives off a delicate scent.

This family includes more than 2,000 species of plants grasses, shrubs and trees distributed in temperate regions worldwide. The main fruits Europe, in addition to Rose, belong to this family.

There are hundreds of varieties that have been grouped five races, each with different characteristics, and maturation period own applications. nectarines and Paraguayans are of the best known in the Spanish market.

Good presentation, intense colour and a very regular shape. The pulp is yellow, firm, with a thin and juicy texture.It has a rounded shape or lightly oval, quite regular. Good calibre, good colour and tasty quality variety.
Medium calibre. Dark red or garnet on fruits exposed to light. Round shape, thin, very juicy and loose stone.
Medium calibre. Red or garnet in the fruits exposed to the light, and bright red in the ones situated in the inside of the tree. Rounded shape. Firm, thin and very juicy pulp. Stone-free.
Medium to thick calibre. Rounded, a little flat. Very regular and asymmetrical. With mucron. Intense dark red skin, very characteristic. Juicy pulp, and good tasty quality. Semi-free stone that tends to open.
Thick calibre. Rounded and regular. Orangye-yellow skin, covered with an intense red in great part of the fruit. Yellow pulp, firm and juicy. Good tasty quality. Stone-free.
